PS4 Check ps4 update without hdmi

Do we have any way to check what update a ps4 is on without being able to connect the hdmi.
I have a ps4 with a broken hdmi port that I was told hadn't been updated in awhile. If it's on an old enough update I'd like to try getting it fixed otherwise I'll keep using it for parts.

possibly through uart, but I don't know for sure.

edit: I did some more research. you can see current ps4 firmware, previous firmware, and minimum firmware with ps4 wee tools, which I think can be used through uart.
