PS3 CMOS Issue Suggestion

I was thinking of a permanent solution for ps3 cmos issue, a hombrew application can be developed for the ps3 which can set the time of the internal clock of the ps3 something similar to the kernel clock payload for ps4 jb, this will permanently fix the issue for jb ps3.
Pls if this is possible i request the devs to make this feature available as a hombrew application so that will will cater the needs of bot cfw & hen users.
