Cobra 7.50 Installer for Rogero 4.46-Cobra7-CFW

As the headline says:
Find a Cobra 7.50 Installer for Rogero 4.46-Cobra7-CFW
My ps3 slim is still on cfw 4.46 and would like this also maintained!
Gibts da ne possibility of cobra 7.20 on Cobra 7.50 upzudaten?

There is the cobra 7.50 installer for rebug 4.81.1 (cex-dex)
I got the stage2.cex from the Installer for Cobra 7.50 Installer for Rebug 4.81.1 concerned.
Have simply unpacked with PKGView the cobra750.pkg.
As far as I remember, cobra was the "stage2.cex"
I could now simply exchange with the current or does not go?

Ur living in the past i was also at one point like yourself never wanted to upgrade from 4.46 cobra but as stated above there have been so many advancments since then it makes that cfw redundent my advice is same as @atreyu187 upgrade to lateat cobra revision cfw u will have what u have now and more :)

There is no possibility "cobra 7.50" in the Rogero 4.46-Cobra7-CFW install?
@ Casavult
I know this firmware is old, but would like to stop on this.

@all
Has already run the REBUG 4.81.2 REX EDITION.
This cfw is on my fat and also on the other fat with ps1 and ps2 support ;)

But I will gladly cobra 7.50 into the Rogero 4.46-Cobra7-CFW incorporate...

In my opinion, it has no more sense to use a CFW 4.46. Upgrade to the latest version of a CFW allows for more stability and updated functions cobra.

There are patches that are in place in that firmware that aren't needed and patches that are needed that are missing. If you want 4.46 you are better off starting from scratch and making a new one. But staying on 4.46 makes about as much sense as staying on 3.55, but at least 3.55 has faster FTP and the PS2 emu will accept disc even for non-bc models.

So far changes have not been made to the 4.46 Cobra code. The latest version for 4.46 is 7.3 & it was only done for Rogero not for Rebug .
https://github.com/Joonie86/COBRA-7.3
However you can see in this repository that the 4.81 Cobra code has been updated to 7.5.

You only have 2 options...
If you feel comfortable dealing with C code, you could integrate the Cobra source changes from 4.81 into 4.46. I recommend testing on a console with hardware flasher though.
Otherwise I suggest you wait until a dev does the port for you!
In the meantime if you want to remain on 4.46 you could update Cobra to 7.3 but in Rogero! The binaries are ready to use in the appropriate BIN folder of the repo.

You can remain on 4.46 if you wish but for 99.9% of users, there is absolutely no good reason to do so... Some people prefer to stay on 3.55 & use JB folders but all this is obsolete now. Only a handful of people remain on older cfw due to one or 2 features they can't get on newer releases but it's not your case.

thanks for the information

Ok cobra 7.50 does not go for cfw 4.46.
How could I update since now on cobra 7.30?
Is there any guidance for the cobra 7.30 in the cfw Rogero 4.46-Cobra7.20?
What exactly would I have to do there?

Sorry but if you cannot tweak the code yourself I am afraid that the 4.46 Cobra 7.3 code is for Rogero not Rebug! You are stuck with what you have until a dev decides to port for Rebug 4.46 or unify the Cobra builds which is something that maybe on the cards for the future..

So there is no possibility to provide a cfw Rogero 4.46-Cobra7.30?
What do you mean? Making a new Rogero 4.46 Cobra pup file to replace stage2.bin?
That should be possible, you could actually do it yourself with puadgui by EvilNAT.
Extract the PUP file, you only need to decompress the /dev_flash files, then replace stage2.bin with the one compiled on Joonie's github & repack the pup.
But for you right now it's faster to replace the file manually in /dev_flash...

So I can from the side
Https://github.com/Joonie86/COBRA-7.3/tree/master/446/BIN
Of Joonie86 / COBRA-7.3
The "stage2.bin" simply replace with the in the cfw Rogero 4.46-Cobra7.20?
Just change the two "stage2.bin" by ftp?

sorry for my bad English ;)
You can use multiman's ftp server & enable /dev_blind in the Settings column.

Swap only the stage2.bin file... Rename the old one, don't delete it.
The debug version in the repo is for devs, don't use it.
And note that Cobra is composed of more than one file. The ps2emu files are not updated in this Cobra 7.3 port. Only stage2 has been ported. It won't affect ps3 games though.

Be aware that if you make a mistake you will soft brick & you may need to reinstall your CFW.

OK thanks
But when I do everything right with the "stage2.bin", so this copy to the right place, then nothing happens with the ps3?
Only if I do not replace it properly?
Can this "stage2.bin" also take for cfw Rogero 4.46-Cobra7.20?

It can only be used with Rogero 4.46 Cobra. That Rogero release was Cobra 7.0 not 7.20 iirc.
Orion released a Cobra 7.2 updater for Rogero 4.46. That updater replaces the stage2.bin file in the same way as what you would do via ftp. If I am not mistaken this updater could probably be tweaked to install 7.3, you could extract the files in Orion's pkg, replace the stage2.bin file & rebuild the pkg. Then use it to install Cobra 7.3...
PS3 Tools Collection would help you do this in 2mn.

Hate to say it but this is one of the things we can't exactly help with. If you have to ask then it's above your skill set. Heck it's above most users here skill set and with that and the desire to do so it's kinda a mute point since there is no benefit to do so. At
Exactly CFW Rogero 4.46-Cobra was origin cobra 7.0.
Then I extended by Orion Cobra 7.2 updater.

Then use PKG decrypter and swap the Cobra stage2.bin from 7.20 with the 7.3 stage2.bin from github. After that make a PKG and install. It will back up your older one.

Porting the Cobra 7.5 to Rebug 4.46 isn't utterly complicated, it's just that it's not a priority at all as there is next to no demand for it.
If anything, rather than porting to each particular Cobra CFW it would be better to spend time in unifying the Cobra code.
For that we would need an exhaustive list of all static hashes in each Cobra cfw version.
