PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

@nictse I think that will be best if i will teach you how to modify that on one example, then you can do that for rest of games. Example code is:
"SLUS_208.51 Ace Combat 5 - Fix Texture issues"

3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0B 00 00 00 02 00 00 00
76 02 00 00 5C 01 00 00 20 00 00 00 4B 00 60 2C
48 49 88 00 4B 00 68 2C 48 4A 88 00 4B 0C 68 2C
48 4B 88 00 4A 00 02 FF 4A 00 02 FF 4B 00 60 2C
4B 00 68 2C 4B 0C 68 2C 4A 00 02 FF 4A 00 02 FF
48 49 88 00 48 4A 88 00 48 4B 88 00 80 0E 21 00
D8 20 00 00 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 46 01 15 01
8F A2 00 20 24 03 00 01 00 00 00 00 C6 40 00 E4
46 00 A0 34 00 00 00 00 10 40 00 96 46 01 15 01
8F A2 00 20 24 03 00 01 14 43 00 3A C6 40 00 E4
46 00 A0 34 45 02 00 0C
00 00 00 00

Code you mentioned that work for you is:

3D 00 00 00 F6 41 00 00 46 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
53 4C 55 53 2D 32 30 39 31 31

Combined code will be:

46 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Basically you just need to add 46 00 00 00 before last 00 00 00 00 in config.

Eternal Ring (SLUS-20015)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0E 00 00 00 EC 39 12 00
00 00 00 00
Fix instant death glitch. Game is 100% playable now. This is a pretty common bug in all PS2 emulators...Sony fixed this bug on Eternal Ring's PS2 on PS4 release in a config patch which probably does the same thing as this config. PCSX2 fixes this bug with rounding set to nearest (similar to Kuon's Sugoroku bug, both From Software games).
Its a very good game and a very nice fix. Thanks mrjaredbeta!
Is there a way to download all configs from this database link:
http://ps3.aldostools.org/ps2config.html?q=SLES-52568

@kozarovv thx,i get the method
seems easy,i'll fix and tested!

Hi the game crash bandicoot twinsanity crashes randomly, saving games and loading them works fine.

When the screen is locked, you can exit to xmb without problem.

Is there any solution or confing where the crashes can be fixed randomly? I tried to remove anti-aliasing, full screen but still continues. Of course there is no rush, if there is no solution, thank you for your attention.
Two years ago im was play this game at my han ps3, and probably im still have that pkg on my hard drive...

@zitroello @Vika23 I haven't had time to test yet, but what's the latest consensus with Twinsanity? Random freezing? Freezing at specific point in the game? Freezing during saving? I haven't tried that game on netemu.

I have seen that Disney-Pixar Finding Nemo has a gx_emu config that (supposedly) fixes the pause menu freezing. Since Finding Nemo and the Crash games are all made by Traveller's Tales, I thought it was possible to take a look at that config and port it over. However, I took a quick look in the executables for both Crash games (Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity) and looks like only WoC uses the same engine/system. I ported that over to WoC, so after testing and confirming that it works, I will post it here. After that, I will see if I can somehow fix Twinsanity's freezing by comparing the two games again.

On a side note, does anyone have the Chronicles of Narnia ps2 games and is willing to test them? They are also made by TT, and if they have a similar freezing issue, I am sure Sony fixed them in their PS2 Classics release.

It is a random freeze.
It freezes at any point in the game, it takes no more than 15-20 minutes to freeze.
Additional data I'm on Rebug 4.86

That configuration you are talking about, does it work well to save and load games?
The first config I had, the game did not freeze but it did freeze to load and save games.

I never heard about working config for Twinsanity. All of them sooner, or later freeze. I remember that someone even tried PM me PKG THAT 100% work!!! ! ! !!11 1 :D But nope, after i asked to unpack there was plain config from iirc softemu that freeze little bit later in game.

Also FYI @mrjaredbeta Twinsanity is the same engine as... Super Monkey Ball Adventure ;)

of course it can be true, im just remember that i test game and not notice any freeze, maybe later its will be ..sure..

@zitroello Did you try the soft config as well? You can find it here:

Looks like the soft config has an additional patch in it for the SLES version. Maybe try it to see if it fixes anything. I still haven't had time to actually test the game myself.

With that setup at this location? dev_hdd0 / game / PS2CONFIG Will Webman automatically detect it for me to load with those settings? Thank you .

Good question...I'm not too familiar with how that works, but I suppose the configs are loaded from CUSTOM first, then NET, GX, SOFT...so I can't really help with that. I usually add configs manually to the PS2ISO folder:

dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/Crash Twinsanity.iso
dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/Crash Twinsanity.iso.CONFIG

The format should be like that. You need to change the config file's name to what ever your iso file is named. If it is Crash.iso, your config should be named Crash.iso.CONFIG. If it is named SLES_525.68.iso, config should be named SLES_525.68.iso.CONFIG. Hope I made it clear enough!

I already tried the confings these are the results:

CUSTOM: Freezes during gameplay
GX: Freeze load game
SOFT: Freeze load game

The best result it gave me was the CUSTOM, it is similar to the ManaGunZ but lasts a little longer to play.
