PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

off topic, but @Major_Pothead92 , I'm becoming a major pothead myself. I'm on medical marijuana. in fact, my sister bought me a new dugout for Christmas. I don't smoke much really, because I hate having to tilt my head upwards at an angle to keep the weed in the dugout. I'm going to ask her to buy me a normal pipe next time with the weed in a bowl. :P

It helps me fall asleep, keeps anxiety at bay. I deal with ptsd so much rather smoke than go back to taking benzodiazipines and whatnot. You'd probably be fine with one of the old school metal pipes, or a nice glass bowl. You can find em' on ebay =D

Hello, apologize if I'm breaking some sort of rule for making a new account I changed email addresses and lost my password so I couldn't log back in. If a mod could help me merge accounts or something that'd be great.

In the approximately 6 months since I last posted you guys have been killing it. Even Tales of Legendia now working which is crazy. You guys are awesome.

But I tried SSX with the config on aldos site and still froze now long after the race started. Also will Soul Reaver 2 ever be fixable? There's not many other games for PS2 I even need.

thanks

Yo, I asked for a SSX fix and tested it as much as I could, check out a previous post from me in this topic, where I put the information together I could find. :P
Maybe you can also test it and find some certain patterns that causes freezes? :P
However, @mrjaredbeta is on it and maybe we can fix the game. :D

I could try. But is SSX Tricky like SSX 1.5? I was just reading about it and it seems like the same game but with longer courses and more characters. I get the nostalgia of the original though I remember the first time I ever played a PS2 one of the games we played was SSX.

I'm not quite sure, but as far I've gotten into SSX Tricky, I haven't seen the racers and maps from the first SSX. It's pretty similar, but not the same experience when you grew up playing the first SSX.

I've just been reading stuff like this, but it would still be cool to have the original. In case we can't get it though.

SSX (2000) and SSX Tricky[edit]

Main articles: SSX and SSX Tricky
SSX was released for the PlayStation 2 for its launch in October 2000. SSX was developed by EA Canada, while SSX Tricky was developed by EA Sports. The game was critically acclaimed. SSX Tricky was released November 5, 2001, for the PlayStation 2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Xbox. SSX Tricky was so similar to the original that many considered it an update rather than a sequel.[2]

I played all SSX's and evrytime i read you talking about them it makes me remember in one of the games (i think it was SSX On tour) there is a race that takes around 30 minutes to complete
All the races are located in the same mountain, when you start the carreer mode you can only play at the tracks at the base of the mountain that are easy difficult level... then at middle of the mountain there are many tracks and "offtracks" that connects with the other tracks at the base of the mountain... and when you have everything unlocked the last track starts at the peak of the mountain (with very bad wheater, wiind, low visibility, lot of rocks, cliffs, etc...), they drops you with an helicopter and while you are descending you can connect with the other tracks all down to the base of the mountain, everything loaded seamless in between tracks

As far i remember this happens in several SSX games but there is one of them where they went hardcore with it, it was something unique and a awesome experience :D

did someone test Flatout 2? i heard it have cam issue but game works fine, or maybe someone have config?
i tested few times ago Flatout 1 and Flatout 2 with the configs (i don't remember which version was) and it fixed the camera glitches, flatout 2 has few slowdowns in some tracks but its playable, especially the USA version have better framerate

i don't know who was the one who wrote that rogue galaxy rogue have more slowdowns than the ps2,it is the other way around, game have way less slowdown than on ps2 and way faster loading.

Possible fix for Scooby-Doo! First Frights (NTSC-U, but shouldn't matter). Game is affected by the same recompiler bug as Tales of Legendia. Although issues looks completely different. Netemu sucks :P
Code:

FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 00 20 09 34 00 00 00 00
FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 00 20 0A 34 00 00 00 00
UNTESTED.
