Already two games fixed since I made this list just Saturday. So what's the final verdict on Ridge Racer V it's no good or it is I've heard both? I had it on my PS3 before I got my gaming PC but can't remember.

I think it is possible to fix, but problem lies in the sound driver IRX on the disc. AFAIK this gets sent to the SPU, and netemu must have trouble with some reverb or delay effect. I believe the problem stems from here since even full BC consoles have this problem with FFXII, KH, and other Square games.

I will have to look into this more. I'm sure it will require a 0x0B patch which I have never successfully done, and I have no idea where the problem is happening inside the sound driver, so unsure if this will ever be fixed.

No idea about this one since this game and R Racing Evolution both have some similar problems. It is probably unfixable for now.

Together with the one and only @mrjaredbeta we figured out the debug values responsible for the rendering options (thanks to the hidden debug menu left!). Particles and fog disabled. The draw distance is heavy lowered - there are visible textures pop in. It was all done to lower the slowdowns as much as possible. It works without a hitch in the bumper and hood camera view. In the indoor view there could be slowdowns on some tracks (Monte Carlo SS2 notably, a very heavy track, netemu struggles a lot there). The performance in the chase cams are the worst - on the Monte Carlo SS2, the in game time could be about 10 seconds slower than in the real life. Just like with the rally cross stages - slowdowns where there are a lot of opponent cars nearby. Thankfully, the time is not so important in that mode.

All freezes fixed thanks to the 0x41 command (a breakthrough fix by the Patchmachine @mrjaredbeta)! The original GX config has got a branch delay value left unpatched, it is fixed as well. The game, with the minor issues I have described, could be enjoyed and completed.

If someone has got a French version WRC avec Sebastien Loeb 2005 Edition (SCES-53680), please contact me to create a working patch for this version also.

There's a custom config for True Crime NYC, haven't tested it yet though so no idea what it fixes or if it's playable.
