It depends. The games I personally want fixed will probably never work properly, and same goes for a lot of the remaining unplayable game. I am definitely slowing down a bit more nowadays.
I really like this emulator though, so I'm not going anywhere.

I just tested the ending of Drakengard without any issue. I got through it on the second try. You're referring to this boss, right?
Oh really? On the compatibility list it said "Branch E boss fight is unfairly hard due to lag breaking the intended timings."

I saw that, too. There isn't any slowdown in the final boss besides some jitter before it begins which doesn't affect any timing whatsoever (the bell tolls are not statically played and are instead matching the game regardless of speed, so even if it was insanely slow it would still match properly. Sounds like someone just wasn't good at that boss...?
Anyways, I also found a fix for the incorrect death screen animation, so I will update the config in a bit.

Sorry for the noob question, but how do we apply these?
1. Go to https://ps3.aldostools.org/ps2config.html?q=draken
2. Download the config for CFW (CUSTOM) or HEN (ENC)
3. Copy the config in the same name of your ISO + .CONFIG as:
/dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/name.ISO
/dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/name.ISO.CONFIG <= downloaded file
or
/dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/name.BIN.ENC
/dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/name.BIN.ENC.CONFIG <= downloaded file
4. Mount your game with a backup manager and launch it.
I think .BIN.ENC.CONFIG is currently supported only by webMAN MOD.

If Auto CONFIG is checked in /setup.ps3, webMAN MOD will copy the CONFIG automatically to the folder of the ISO or .BIN.ENC
Your ISO or .BIN.ENC should include the game id in the file name (e.g. name [SLUS-12345].BIN.ENC)
It is recommended that you update to the latest build if you want to apply the latest CONFIG

Mes jeux sont dans le répertoire /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/ sous la bonne forme (par exemple : "Gran Turismo 4 [SCES_517.19].BIN.ENC"). "Auto CONFIG" est bien coché dans la ligne "PLAYSTATION 2" sous "Scanner les contenus suivants" mais aucun fichier ".CONFIG" n'y est présent.

My games are in the /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/ directory in the correct form (for example: "Gran Turismo 4 [SCES_517.19].BIN.ENC"). "Auto CONFIG" is checked in the "PLAYSTATION 2" line under "Scan the following contents" but no ".CONFIG" file is present.

Thank you for your feedback. For PS2 Classics, the encrypted CONFIG was being copied directly to the PS2 Classics launcher.
In the lasted build I implemented a change to copy the encrypted .CONFIG also to PS2ISO folder. Like it does for non-encrypted config used on ISOs.
I also improved the auto-config processing using the id from the file name when a PS2 ISO is mounted.
You can get the latest build from the online updater, from github or brewology.

Bonsoir mon ami. Actuellement, et ceci depuis longtemps, j'utilise toujours la toute dernière mise à jour de WebMAN-Mod. Je n'ai aucun fichier de CONFIG qui soit copié dans le répertoire /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/ ni ailleurs. Je pense que ce fameux fichier CONFIG n'est copié que si j'ai une console en CFW ce qui n'est pas mon cas à l'heure actuelle.
Je vais jouer avec "Gran Turismo 4" (PS2) pour vérifier si en l'absence du fichier CONFIG dans le répertoire ".../PS2ISO" le jeu fonctionne correctement et je t'en informerai rapidement.
C'est fait !!! Le jeu semble fonctionner correctement, le rendu de la vitesse de défilement est bon, l'ombre des véhicules semble absente, seulement la vitesse du freinage est très forte. Je pense que @mrjaredbeta pourra me répondre pour ce jeu et si le fichier CONFIG a bien été chargé.

If there is no shadow in car select screen, then the config should be loaded correctly.
Another way to check would be to do the secret menu combo on the PS button menu. Hold L1 + R1 + left d-pad + square for 10 seconds, let go, press start button. If the config revision is not 1, then the config is loaded.

I removed the 0x21, 0x41 and 0x46 commands which do nothing. The function that applies the performance heavy colour correction (channel shuffle) has been branched instead, so the saturation and colour balance settings are discarded too (previously only the brightness and contrast settings were patched out). The FMVs are still disabled unfortunately. I wonder if the gxemu is affected with that hanging too, as I saw compatibility reports from Sony about it dated back from 2006 (it might have been fixed eventually).

Don't be fooled by the version... webMAN MOD is updated very often (sometimes up to 5 times in a day).
Use the online updater... you will get the latest changes that I mentioned in the next reboot.

J'ai joué avec "GT-4" à l'instant et j'ai fait le combo de touches que tu m'as indiqué, j'ai bien la révision de Config différente de 1. Donc j'en conclu que la config adéquate a bien été chargé. Je te remercie pour ton aide tellement précieuse à mes yeux.
