Fixes slowdown and screen jitter on car selection screen. Screen jitter still exists ingame on some tracks (something related to track rendering, probably unfixable). Thanks to @MadSaint1998 for testing.

@Rafaelrios There is no stutter. People get confused with terminology. There are only some frame drops that do not affect the game speed.

Those are GS emulation glitches. Sony just skipped over them instead of fixing them (Rogue Galaxy, probably Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter).

what does it fix?game booted without any problem.

It is adjusting GS download operations to EE (Local to Host (L2H)). It is basically some performance fix for the emulated GS in netemu that may or may not be apparent when playing. It also may only be applicable to a certain portion of the game.

You can really see what the command does in a game like Ibara, earlier NASCAR games, or certain Climax developed racing games (Rally Fusion, ATV Quad Power Racing 2). It speeds up these games significantly.

Here I'm uploading an archive with 297 new CONFIG files based on the title ids of the existing configs.

I'm not adding them to the database yet until the method that I used is verified:
I selected the CUSTOM configs that only have codes like (xx 00 00 00), searched the game title ids for other regions and made the file configs.txt. Then extracted the title ids that aren't listed in the online database.

The name of the new configs are listed below and in the file new_configs.txt

EDIT: Added 106 configs for a total of 297 new configs
EDIT2: Updated the archive again. The one with 298 files had broken config files. Updated the online database too.

It could help, but I didn't notice any performance problems on Deadly Alliance when I tested a few days ago. Are there specific stages in the game(s) that have consistent frame drops?

Chamber of artifcats runs at like 20fps, sky temple has framerate dips the whole time because of rain and it happens a little on other stages after enough blood is spilled and then using certain attacks and going certain areas on some stages. Edit: also using the melee weapons cause more lag because of the trail effects they make.

Here I'm uploading an archive with 297 new CONFIG files based on the title ids of the existing configs.

I'm not adding them to the database yet until the method that I used is verified:
I selected the CUSTOM configs that only have codes like (xx 00 00 00), searched the game title ids for other regions and made the file configs.txt. Then extracted the title ids that aren't listed in the online database.

The name of the new configs are listed below and in the file new_configs.txt

EDIT: Added 106 configs for a total of 297 new configs
EDIT2: Updated the archive again. The one with 298 files had broken config files. Updated the online database too.

Gran turismos fixed completly, awesome milestone, who could say that a couple of years ago? btw are you going to use the same trick to make GT4 fully {{playable}} too ?

I have already ported the car selection slowdown to GT4 which is much better than the current config that only removes the shadows and does not touch the root cause of the slowdown. The ingame fixes for 3 may or may not work with GT4. It depends on if 4 uses the same graphical effect on specific tracks, and if the light effects are also a cause of slowdown on the night tracks. Otherwise, GT4 is fine without these speed fixes (current brightness/contrast fix does the job). These will definitely help the Concept games and most likely 4 Prologue if not 4 as well.

I still have no idea how to fix the FMVs, though.
