PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

So if i understand you correctly i don't need to install the database right? WebMan Mod just comes with it?

The PS2CONFIG database is only needed for encrypted ISO (BIN.ENC) which can be used on CFW and required for HEN.

For non-encrypted PS2 ISO (CFW only), webMAN MOD already comes with the config files.
The online updater available in webMAN Setup menu of keeps the PS2 config database up-to-date with the latest additions.

I kinda get a 404 error trying to download PS2 CONFIG that way.

I tried webMAN Games -> webMAN Setup -> Update webMAN MOD -> PS2 CONFIG Database.

Or should i just go "Install" in Update webMAN MOD?

And another short question: How can SYSCON be set for PS2 FAN speed? Or is that even possible?

Sorry for all the questions but i just want to set this up correctly. Once everything is working i definitely need to send you a donation. This is seriously impressive stuff

The link of the database changed recently. That's why you get 404 error.

If you update webMAN MOD using the online updater, you will get the correct link after reboot.

@Swordlend Still needs more testing, but level 2 loads fine now.

I came to the third mission, there was no problem, also the graphics seem to have improved a bit

@Swordlend That's not an issue. It is called dithering and it was used a lot on PS1 and PS2 games to increase color fidelity. On PS3, the image is clear and without noise, making it much more easier to notice: https://emulation.fandom.com/wiki/Dithering

You would need a memory patch to disable it (either patched iso or config with a patch), but since it's not really an issue, I probably won't look into it. You could ask on the PCSX2 Forums to see if someone has a dithering disable code made for that game.

Fixes all frame rate issues, and additionally fixes flickering graphics when not playing in progressive scan mode.

@Alonso240 This still needs some more testing, but I have tried about 10 random arcade stages and they all played fine. This should still work with your 480p patched ISO.

This fixed all of the game play issues for the PAL version. Thank you!

Ported kozarovv's PCSX2 graphics fix, as well as added a fix for freezing issues due looping function handling semaphore syscalls.

Thank you and sorry if this question violates any rule.

Dead or Alive 2 ISO size is 4.3 GB.
ISO contain dummy data. I can RIP the ISO to 1.3 GB and it works on pcsx2.

But then it only gives black screen on ps3, the original 4.3GB ISO works though..

@depaul The config required for that game to boot relies on the ISO being unmodified as it patches disc sectors. Removing that file will change the structure of the disc and the patches will not work. PCSX2 just patches EE memory. Memory patching would work on netemu, but I don't feel like creating another patch for it.
