PS3 Compatibility List - PSN to ISO Conversions

The JPN also have English sub for what I remember. A fast guide? That game has also sprx and other files, not only eboot. Thanks

That game can't be converted some games just can't I tried many times only Japanese version can.

In the first post of this thread the one that is working is again the Japanese version.

I have try with the JPN version. With PSN liberator 1.0. Always the same problem, the game start and exit to XMB. The log of PSN Liberator say everithing successfully so what i can do? Please some help...

After resigner everithing with essse, the game start. The story is over? Obv not. The game ask to save and give me an error of corrupted things. What the hell! I have deleted the save, recreated, but always corrupted it. Wtf. Now what I do. The game is folder, I dunno if this is the problem. I'll try ISO maybe?

sorry if my writing is not so clear. I will try to update the table with some details because some games need some extra steps to work.

OKAMI HDBLJM60467

Is possible to know that is the "required extra step to work?" I have try also to convert to ISO. The game boots, and die at creation of the save game.

I'm out of idea. I don't think is the savegame problem, since the game created it and then crash with the error of corrupted installation. So for what reason can't find something? I have resigned eboot, prx and a edat. What I need to do...

sorry for your trouble, but this game was working fine with no extra steps.
but I will try it again today if I have the time, maybe I didn't try the save when I test it the last time.
but could you try to another program to resign the files like Trueancestor.

I have try PS3 Tools (SELF TOOL --> Resign EBOOT-SELF) same error after saving the first time. I'm miss something i'm sure.

A little update
If i install the game, the game work fine, no "save" problem the game just start
If with installed game i'll launch the hdd/games version, the game give me error "corrupted installation"

So the is something wrong in the procedure.

make npdata is what you could use for large edat files. afaik, it can't reencrypt them, but you don't need to. I wouldn't recommend bruteforcing though. if the edat is dummy, it won't tell you this. it will just continue to search for the klicense.

btw, here's make_npdata (not sure if one exists that can encrypt the files back). to test the klicense, I think it needs to be a hexed file. I haven't tried getting the klicense with this (thought you were referring to bruteforcing with ps3 tools, which now I think you mean this):

and, btw, when I mean big edat files, I mean over 2GBs. most tools can only do 2GBs or less. make_npdata can do any size, just can't reencrypt them afaik.

@AlexRhine,
I have try both ISO and FOLDER. Both stop at savegame, so at start of the game. It's the first time i see a game start but block in this way, other one simply doesn't start...

@pinky,
The edat is 1KB so i think is a dummy one. I don't know how to use that software anyway...
This is the dir content. I mean the most important one:
  • USRDIR\SBOOT.BIN
  • USRDIR\npdrm_check.edat
  • USRDIR\EBOOT.BIN
  • USRDIR\bootinfo.txt
  • USRDIR\prx\event.ppu.sprx
  • USRDIR\prx\main.ppu.sprx
  • USRDIR\prx\movie.ppu.sprx
  • USRDIR\prx\stage.ppu.sprx
  • USRDIR\prx\wolves_kernel.sprx
  • USRDIR\data\wolves.sft
  • PS3_GAMES\PARAM.SFO
All the file are maybe 6 mb totally. The biggest one is wolves.cpk, 7,55GB

Noone want to try by himself? The game is BLJM60467. I have put many effort in this, so if someone want to test i can only be gratefull...

For OKAMI, solved with the NPUB30720 and the "FIX", the bullshit of JPN version it made me waste time indefinitely. Many thanks for the help to all, have a nice day

Thanks very much, I can confirm now that after deleting the installed PKG, and converting the game to ISO with just resigning the EBOOT and nothing else the game worked fine, I even deleted the edat and it worked without it.
The only strange thing I noticed is that the game when starts there are 2 loading screens one white with loading bar, and the other that comes after it is the normal loading screen, and the game installs data with a background "Trial", but the game itself ia complete not the trial.
Don't no of this is normal, or this is due to not including the edat, and resigning the UPLAY and the other SDAT files.

Thanks very much for ypur help everybody

(The above quote is regarding Assassin's Creed Liberation HD NPEB01386 version)

Confirmed this works with NPUB31244 version. PSNLiberator correctly resigned the EBOOT but not the SELFs, use another tool or the original files. If you have previously installed the game, you need to delete it and its save files. Running this game as a disc causes ~600 MB to be installed, and the game will choke on those previously installed files.

However, after playing for a bit, I encountered this...

I guess (hope) the problem is that those SDATs need to be resigned.

I don't remember all the steps right now, but I think your steps are OK, but there is one thing is missing, did you resign the SELF and SDAT files? (I don't think you need to resign the SDAT files but just do it to be sure).

Hi I just resigned the SELF and SDAT files as you told me, and here are my results:

How did you resign the SDATs? I just tried with TrueAncestor EDAT Rebuilder and it said all 92 files failed to decrypt (I had the appropriate RAP in the correct place). Managunz file manager couldn't do it, either.

Well...after going back to the game several days later, it now plays fine. Guess that was just a random glitch. I'm still getting the white loading screen on bootup, that was definately NOT there when I had the game on HDD, but whatever, it works.

Call of Duty Classic (NPUB30065) - works, played the training level and the first mission.

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon (NPUB31142) - doesn't work, starts to load but then you get this message..

"There's a problem with the disc you're using. It may be dirty or damaged. Please press the PS button to exit the game."

I think the problem is that the game writes some temporary save files to the game folder, but since you're mounting an USB as a BD drive you can't write to a BD drive. Maybe this game would work as GAMEI (mounting an USB as a HDD), am I correct, @aldostools ?

EDIT - this game works fine when ran as GAMEI.
