I've trying to port fake-08 which has a libretro implmentation. I got it working with a SDL frontend I hacked up but could not get it to boot in under retroarch in the emulator, I discovered that retroarch by default suppresses printout errors, so I was getting a nondescript "Abort called", until I found settings under the core submenu where I can set the print level to be debug. It seems the PS3 audio backend for Retroarch is not perfect and does not work with fake-08
Actually, to change the log level is not under the core, submenu, but the logging submenu. There one can set the log levels after setting it to verbose logging.
