I have a feeling that another thing that could be skewing some of the numbers in this thread is the Remote Start function. I can't test it right now but would not be surprised if you are using that it does not count as a shutdown when you go into standby. So if you left your console in this standby mode a lot it would skew the average uptime per boot calculations.

I think I might have just set a record here, this is a DECR-1400J, the HDD lists a little over 30k hours while the syscon lists a little under 30k hours.

alright, after updating wmm, it now shows the correct power on time.

what is your total runtime, pinky? it should say it in days, hours, etc like pic above. and what model number?

it wasn't that screen. it was the screen that appears with start and select. I'm not sure how to access the power on/off screen.

cool. the number in () is bad shutdowns. their run time is not added to total. so i estimate you have really closer to 500 days.

The factory 320gb Toshiba hard drive has failed a long time ago. The console has never been cleaned and has not been dismantled.

the number inside () is the times it was not shutdown correctly. (maybe somebody flipped the switch on back or just unplugged it instead of using the power button.)

the number of days seems low compared to the number of startups (on) because it did not count the run time from bad shutdowns.

what is the model number? cech-??

As the running time is recorded when the system is shutdown, it could not record it
2613 times. So the 7d 8h 35m was registered for 193 shutdowns. That means that the average session was of 55 minutes (10,595mins÷193).

The estimated total running time should be 2806x55mins = 154,330mins or 2,572 hours or 107d 4h 10m
