Controllers not syncing after being used to turn on the console

Hi again,

Tried 2 different controllers and it does the same thing, it was doing this before i installed evilnat 4.88.2 aswell. I have the exact same model ps3 full of spare parts if i have to use them to fix it.

Weirdly, i can use one controller to turn on the console, and then when that fails to sync, i can turn on a different controller and that syncs fine.

It only happens when i turn on the console with the controller.

in original controls, behind it there is a small hole, inside there is a reset button, using a toothpick or something thin you can press it, this will make it reset.

do the following, turn on the controller and while it is blinking, press this button, it will turn off at the time (normal), connect the usb cable to the controller with it still off and plug it into the ps3, it will flash as if it was charging and press to turn on , so it should sync again.
If it doesn't work try again, maybe holding the reset button longer.

Sometimes it happens to me that the control doesn't synchronize, I even thought it was the module burned, I did it a few times and it went back to normal, test your luck and post the result.

Yep, i have tried this, also my ps3 is a slim. It seems to happen on all my official controllers… once they're synced, they work normally.

But i just can't reliably get the controller i use to remotely start the console to sync everytime, id say about 80% of the time it just flashes until i plug the usb in to get it to sync. I dont know whats going on, but i just want to be able to boot the console on my remote and it work

It works if i turn on the console by the button and then the controller… i dont know its so weird… but there was burn marks on my bluray drive which is awful close to the bluetooth on the slim

explain better, I didn't understand, I don't speak English natively

My PS3 disc drive was damaged from heat.
The disc drive is near the part of the motherboard where the controller connects to.

Hopefully it isnt a damaged motherboard causing this because I dont really want to be soldering to fix it, but it isnt the controllers because i have another ps3 and they work fine turning it on. Its this ps3… My last slim was identical and didnt do this either.
