PS3 Creating a fakeAct in cfw tools in evilnat to play PS2/psp games

Hi everyone,

I was told to have a fakeAct file in order for me to play ps2/psp isos. However, I could not find a single yt vid or tutorial online that could clearly tell me on how to do it. Could anyone help? I'm new to this. I have a non-BC Phat PS3 running on evilnat. I also have webman mod installed

Are your console banned from PSN? If not, there is no need to have a fake act.dat, just login into PSN and activate the system under the account settings.

If you are banned, you can create the act file under the CFW tools menu.

Oh, I see. I'm not banned from it so I'll just make a real one. I tried making a fake one using Apollo Save tool. After that, when I tried playing my ps2 iso file through Webman as someone on this site told me before, it did the same thing where it turned off. Am I missing a step in this process? I have an sshd drive on my ps3 so that shouldn't be an issue. Do I have to turn on a software that allows me to play ps2 isos? Do I have to turn on something in webman in order for my ps2 isos to work? Is this the same thing where I need specific software to play psp isos? I'm really confused on this matter. I tried everything to get it to work, I used multiman to play the isos, Webman MOD, and even Managunz. They all have the same outcome, the ps3 turns off.
