PS3 Creating PS2 Classic ISO with command line.

Friends I need Your help. I need to create ISO that would work as PS2 Classic but using a command line. I've tried mkisofs but no luck there. If someone would be able to help me I would really appreciate this

have you tried make_package_npdrm? you just need to fill out/create the package.conf

But isn't it for repacking PKGs? I need to make an PKG from PS2 ISO like in CDgenPS2 but with command line

PKG is not a disc image format, so using mkisofs is totally pointless... You need to have prepared script and meta data with *.iso image to create PS2 Classic PKG (if this is what You want to achieve).

No... not exactly. This program is just for creating PS3 packages files (and have no GUI, so CLI only just what You want).

I've might described it wrong. I need to make ISO with command line and then I would use PS2Classic GUI to convert it and make PKG from it. My problem is that when I'm creating ISO with for example mkisofs then it doesn't boot. I need to make ISO in exactly the same way as CDgenPS2 does but using command line.

CDgen create mode2 bin, not iso :P Anyway, try with imgburn command line. Just follow correct modes, restrictions, levels, etc.

Okay, I've found a way to make it work. First I created ISO with CDgen and then I'm using UltraISO to repack ISO and create new one using "ultraiso -in "%mypath%\tmp.iso" -d "%mypath%\folder" -output "%mypath%\tmp2.iso""

• CDGenPS2 is not for creating DVD disc images from discs but CD disc images from files.
• PS2DVD using ISO9660+UDF v1.02 in mode1 (block size 2048), when PSXCD and PS2CD using ISO9660 in mode2 (block size 2352 if I remember correctly).
• UltraISO doesn't preserve LBA of edited disc images and many games using this order as security layer, so cannot be changed without seriously changes in LBA tables inside ELF/IRX/IOPRP.
• If You need application for creating disc images from discs in CLI, use i.e ImgBurn.

That was fault of the lag on the cable between keyboard and PC. I swear for my SCPH-30004R. Fixed already, and no one saw it. ;}
