Hiya, relatively new to the PS2 scene still, and just ordered an IDE HDD+original NA. (Still waiting on it, should arrive within the next week, but I wanted to get everything ready ahead of time)
Now I'm wondering, what's the best way to set it up once it arrives? I've seen formatting it with wLE/FMCBInstaller, running SUDC4, extracting files from SUDC4, writing a RAW image, etc. so this has all gotten quite confusing.
I specifically want to set up both, HDDOSD and FHDB.
Also just to clarify, I am seemingly able to run SUDC4. Just for the sake of testing I burned it patched as a MasterDisc for MechaPWN, and it gets all the way to the HDD disconnected screen in HDD-Utility 1.10.
And lastly, what's the best method for transferring games to the drive over a network? Don't wanna have to rip it out of my console once it's set up.
