Hi everyone
After buying 12 cechA00 and B00 consoles from japan and not getting lucky with any having Sony performed RSX swaps I've decided to pay to have the service done. Looking for recommendations of people who do these repairs and prices.
I believe a comprehensive service would include the following, please let me know if I'm missing anything
- Swap to 40nm RSX
- Replace tokins with Rip-Felix capacitors
- Fan upgrade, paste, pads
- CMOS battery
So far I know of
- Squeept on eBay (Currently only selling a E01 motherboard)
- Console King (No listings on ebay anymore, not sure if hes still active)
- LuvBuckets ($500 for RSX swap + tokins, systems for $600 )
- PC Savants on eBay ($350 for RSX swap, $430 for RSX swap + Tokins)
