PS3 DARKNET CEX 4.70 & COBRA 7.02/7.03 Release

Thank you for your work!
Previously, I used 4.66 v1.02 cobra, and there worked fine ps2emu swaping custom / original, and worked all my DS3 wirelessly. My ps3 cech-2508.
But now, I cant switch to custom.
Please correct "swaping" switch in cfw darknet 4.70 cex 1.00 cobra 7.03
Now 7 DS3 that I have, is only 1 in wireless (

You have 4.70 OFW, not 3.55 OFW. Any PS3s with OFW higher than 3.55 [3.56+] Can't use CFW.

Does anyone know how to use the PS3MPAI properly? Here's the copy of my post on NGU:

Okay, so I'm very interested in this feature introduced in Darknet's newest firmware called "PS3MAPI". I searched up how to use it and it says to replace the RTM Tool's PS3lib.dll file and adding the PS3ManagerAPI.dll provided in the post. Once I placed the new files, I select CCAPI and it "tricks" it into using PS3MAPI so I input the IP address (with port 7887) then it asks where to attach. That's the part I don't understand from the options that it gives me. I tried both the t6mp_ps3f.self and vsh.self options but it just makes the RTM tool stop working and freezes the tool. Please any help?

Additional info:
-I'm on 4.70 Darknet Cobra 7.03 (as described on the title)
-I can confirm that the Tool is able to connect properly to my PS3, just the attaching part seems to have problems
-Tested on 2 different BO2 RTM Tools

Edit: I seen darkjiros' video on PS3MAPI testing and it shows that he attaches to the EBOOT.bin. Does this mean PS3MAPI requires something similar to a debug eboot?

The answer is to your question is in the official thread:

- Download and install "ps3manager_api_cobra_installer_xxx.pkg".

- Run it, it will install the new stage2.bin (or stage2.cex on rebug), if all is good your ps3 will reboot, if not it get back to xmb.
-Install the last version of webMAN-MOD.
- Done you can now use all features of COBRA, PS3M_API and webMAN-MOD .

Note: Unlike the mamba version change are permanent (until you re-install your cfw), every time you boot your ps3 PS3M_API will be auto-load since it is integrate in cobra stage2.bin.

Yes but what about the computer side of things? besides, doesn't the cobra 7.03 already come with the ps3mapi components?

If you have webMAN MOD then you just access your PS3's IP and if you have installed everything right should have access to everything.
(even if webMAN MOD is installed RE-Install after the PS3 Manager API package for your firmware so the PS3 Manager version of webMAN installs from the webMAN MOD installer.

- Download and install "ps3manager_api_cobra_installer_xxx.pkg".
- Run it, it will install the new stage2.bin (or stage2.cex on rebug), if all is good your ps3 will reboot, if not it get back to xmb.
-Install the last version of webMAN-MOD.
- Done you can now use all features of COBRA, PS3M_API and webMAN-MOD .

I tried re-installing webman Mod right after installing PS3MAPI and it freezes my PS3 on boot up. I had to reinstall the CFW via Recovery menu and I tried it again but same result. I think I'm just going to do the reverse and re-install webman mod first then PS3MAPI. And also, I didnt have any game mounted or in my bluray drive

Your using Cobra v7.03 Darknet Correct?

If so then you can install webMAN MOD first. As the installer will see the modified stage2 for PS3MAPI v1.1 and install webMAN MOD (PS3MAPI Edition).
but with CFW (that are supported) if PS3MAPI stage2 was not built into the firmware (such as rebug v4.65.2 for example) you would have to install PS3MAPi pkg first then webMAN MOD otherwise the webMAN MOD installer would not install the PS3MAPI version and just the standard Cobra version.

Oh okay I see. Well now I have a new problem haha. For some reason webman doesn't work anymore. It gives me that error code something like (80....). Usually it is fixed simply by updating the webman mod but when i try installing the new one it just freezes me on boot up so now I have to reinstall cfw once again haha. I didn't install PS3Mapi at all but it still happens. Also, I tried it for habib's new 4.70 cobra firmware and the same thing happens.

Also, thanks for the quick reply and yes I was on Darknet 4.70 Cobra 7.03

with habib v4.70 just install webMAN MOD, as it has PS3MAPI latest version (v1.2 so not need to update that like wiuth Darknet that uses v1.1) already built in to the firmware

well i would but when I install the webman mod it makes me freeze on boot up now. it doesnt work anymore..
