PS3 DARKNET CEX 4.70 & COBRA 7.02/7.03 Release

How to obtain the menu when the update screen with 4 options of your choice for various *. puppies instead of the standard with 2?
 
I always use DragonBall Z Ultimate Tenkaichi game for my boot disc, and always inside my bd drive, and sometime I flash OFW 3.72 from the disc itself by accident. I'm 100% sure you did the same thing which [MENTION=2]STLcardsWS[/MENTION] recently wrote a post about.


Yea i been wanting to add that list to all the CFW releases, forgot on this but added just now.
 
After Install the Rebuild Database.

After Install and you most delete your game installation.
And the Start the Game and New Install on the HardDrive.

No Delete the Games on your HardDrive !!

First you dont need go to recovery, or rebuild database (but rebuilt database is recommended one time for 3-6 months or after jump from old CFW like 3.55-4.46 to 4.70) from 4.46 to 4.66 just update from xmb and try, if is stable is ok. If you find problem try rebuild database. There is no risk, you always have recovery.
Second, deleting game data (only game data, not saves or game backups it self) is needed only when updating from most 4.65 and some 4.66 and older, if you have rebug 4.65 or darknet 4.66 v1.02 or habib 4.66 you don't need to delete anythin.

Thanks kozarovv. Since I'm updating from 4.46 I guess I'll do it from recovery and then rebuild database. Does it take a long time to rebuild?
 
None taken at all. Was it to let you eee your problem not the firmware. Anyhow FYI when using cobra a boot disc isn't a neededas Cobra is 100% discless

Yeah, I know. Its because I alternate between firmwares a lot so sometimes I don't have the cobra features so I use Irisman to mount.

Okay, so I'm very interested in this feature introduced in Darknet's newest firmware called "PS3MAPI". I searched up how to use it and it says to replace the RTM Tool's PS3lib.dll file and adding the PS3ManagerAPI.dll provided in the post. Once I placed the new files, I select CCAPI and it "tricks" it into using PS3MAPI so I input the IP address (with port 7887) then it asks where to attach. That's the part I don't understand from the options that it gives me. I tried both the t6mp_ps3f.self and vsh.self options but it just makes the RTM tool stop working and freezes the tool. Please any help?

Additional info:
-I'm on 4.70 Darknet Cobra 7.03 (as described on the title)
-I can confirm that the Tool is able to connect properly to my PS3, just the attaching part seems to have problems
-Tested on 2 different BO2 RTM Tools

Edit: I seen darkjiros' video on PS3MAPI testing and it shows that he attaches to the EBOOT.bin. Does this mean PS3MAPI requires something similar to a debug eboot?

Rebuilding database only takes a few minutes. Very quick :)

A BAD bug:
cellFsUtilUMount symbol is bad, it calls sys_fs_get_mount_info with illegal arguments(nt sys_fs_get_mount_info(CellFsMountInformation *, unsigned long, unsigned long *)).
IT COULD GIVE A BIG(i mean it) UNSTABILITY.

P.S:dont say you are using my work cause it isnt.I developed different stage0 payloads for cfw to increase compatibility, it will help you with cobra toggle off and apps like prx loader

The offset does not need to do with the cobra.

Another new fw to the collection good to see the good work. Now atleast mm can run from the old one but I'm sure it can also run cobra mode on standard fw aswel.
 
[MENTION=156]darkjiros[/MENTION] Only diffrence between cobra builds are stage2.bin files? If yes then you or someone else can write simple app (Darknet Toolbox?) to change version between 7.02 and 7.03 even webMAN mod can handle this easy if aldo implement this.
 
The 7.03 is a ps3mapi installed is not required.

However, if you install the DARKNET 4.70 COBRA 7.03 PS3mapi Installer.pkg to 7.02,
​you can use the PS3mapi function.

- LV2 kernel is the same.
- Only, stage2.bin different.

reActPSN +3.20 not working black screen
seems need to be update

Same for me. Reactpsn 3.20+ black screen running 7.03 on phat 40gb Have to disable cobra to get it working but then cant use ps2 compatability is this a bug or something have done a clean install and still receive hanging black screen. Need this for wireless sync fix someone please advise

Does anyone tryed to acces PS Store? it crashes after the initial loading on this firmware.

Just downloaded Patapon for my PSTV but I suggest removing its app data then install the update again and rebuild your database from the recovery menu should have you up and running. At least that is what I did to regain PSN access to grab my new exploitable game.
