I need some configuration or tutorial how to fix this problem
I've already heard that the widescreen hex code can solve the problem, but I don't know how to create a .config with it and I couldn't find the codehttps://ps3.aldostools.org/ps2config.html
Although sadly, I do not see any configs for DBZ BT3...
Maybe you could trim the PAD_0.DAT inside of the ISO but I cannot guarantee that it will work.
If you want to give that a try, then you would want to refer to the video below.
The reason why I won't guarantee that this would work is that I haven't done this in a year or 2 by now but I do seem to recall that it made certain games run better (when shrinking dummy file to 0 bytes) also that it would break certain games and cause them to hang at FMV sequences or possibly fail to boot at all. Lots of trial and error tinkering inside of ISO files
Biggest examples I remember is that trimming the PAD_0 for GTA3 breaks the game and makes it freeze at Rockstar logo but when trimming the PAD_0 for Soul Calibur 3 (A game that is laggy on mostly all PS2 emus in general) it ran at better FPS than it's stock version with ridiculously oversized dummy file.
Maybe another thing you could try is to let the FMV/Intro sequences play out completely. I know the DBZ series usually has some long intros especially back in times of PS2 but perhaps if you let those clips play out the ISO will be more able to allocate the data that is needed for the actual gameplay segments of the ISO to run better
Or maybe you could tinker some basic video settings, try a different emu, tweak your current emu or such & such but I am not savvy with anything beyond the first comma in this sentence lol
I'm surprised that a config is not listed for this game as I would expect this to be a topic that has already been delved on before.
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 07 00 00 00 08 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 53 4C 55 53 2D 32 31 36 37 38
The other HDMI would work at console boot but not after gameboot.Hello could you post a config file for the PAL Version of the Game. This one don'tI suppose I will just post the config, seeing as it's only focus is to fix a specific performance issue with this game.
You should give HxD a try at some point though. It's very easy to make configs from scratch and even simpler to edit them.
Let me know how it works for you... works good for my CECH-2501A on D-REX 4.84.2 in Cobra mode.
Just make sure that .ISO and .CONFIG have the same name in your PS2ISO directory
Also keep in mind that this .CONFIG is "GX" type and I tested it on CFW, so I can't be sure of how it will work for HEN
I would put HEN back on my Superslim but there is alot going on with Russian fraudsters ripping off the bgtoolset and I'd rather not put HEN on my 4001C because I actually use an important account to play for trophies on PSN sometimes.
Hello could you post a config file for the PAL Version of the Game. This one don't
Work on my PAL Version
So I tried now this config one the Slus version. On single player the performance was a bit better but the screen and the things in game are flickering. Also the Multiplayer Mode lags more than without an config file. My priority is that the multiplayer play doesn't lag. It would be nice if you find an perfect config file for this legendary game.Hello could you post a config file for the PAL Version of the Game. This one don't

Pls can you send me an config file how you explained it here, with the 50 FPS locked and so on? I don't know how to make something like that. Would be very niceThen use Notepad++ to edit the .config and change the game ID to that of your PAL copy.
Also, you may want to change FPS from being locked at 60 to 50 instead and maybe that will stop stutters or visual lag.
GX config should work as long as it is coded correctly for the game it is going with, so of course it would work as intended for the SLUS version because that's what I made it for.
