PS3 Dead PS3 fix?

Hello all,
I recently had my PS3 Slim (model: CECH-3004A) fail on me and I am unsure how to fix, when plugging the cable into the PS3 it does get power - the cable is fine and the correct of voltage passes through the cable (230V).
I've got a bunch of game saves on the HDD, I did not have it backed up to any cloud or other storage device (my fault ).
And I've heard that the HDD is encrypted, using EID_root_key and that you could dump this key, but I'd guess that is impossible without having it turned on.
I was wondering how I could check what's the issue, if it's the Power Supply or the mainboard itself.
How should I go by checking the power supply? The Power Supply is model: Delta EADP-185AP A.
I tried searching up guides on Google or YouTube but only found for the original PS3 or other models of Power Supplies. Also if the Power Supply ends up being fine and it is the mainboard of the PS3 itself, am I screwed in recovering it?

there is no way to get the EID root key on that model.

to get the pictures to show, either upload them directly into the post or host them on a image sharing site.
