PS3 DECR-1400a Dev Kit question for "emulating" DECR-1000a Dip Switches?

Greetings!
I recently came into possession of a DECR-1400a Development Kit PS3 "TOOL".
This thread serves the purpose of answering my DYING question: How can I emulate the DECR-1000a Dip Switches on my DECR-1400a? I heard it was possible, but documentation for it isn't easy to find.
Can any developer shed some light on this quiet topic?

I do not think you can since DECR-1400A is missing a CP board.

Ah bummer... Thought it can read values from some file for debug setting changes in games.

You have to either patch the gpio handler in lv2 or you have to patch the game.
It does have an emulation feature but that requires the CP, it's meant to be used if the front panel doesn't have the switches or you just want to automate it.
