PS3 deleting unnecessary files

Hi,

IIRC, some games install 'completely' on HDD, so their .iso or install folder can be deleted after installation?
Is there a list of such games?
Is there a list of files that can be removed (if we only want English, or skip cutscenes, etc...)?

Thanks.

Remove unwanted content manually before building the iso, you save a little space but I don't think it's worth the effort most of the time.

Mandatory installs, on the other hand, waste a ton of space and it is currently an unsolved issue. PSN titles come with decompressed data and have installation disabled. Converting them to retail iso (with PSN Liberator for example) is currently the only solution until tools are developed to apply those changes to retail games.

Edit: It should be possible have the game install and then rebuild the iso with the installed data excluded. I didn't try this since it's so much extra work and would make data reinstallation a huge pain. Would save a ton of space though.
