It's been a good 15 years since I held a 1000 in my hand and man, compared to the 2000/3000 this DPad is absolute trash. It's all flat and sinks into the console, usable but yuck.
It's obviously used so there's a small chance this might be some kind of wear and tear.
Was it always this bad? I don't remember it being this sinky
I've seen a couple of places talking about mods/replacements for it.
