PS1 Disc spinning really fast?

I was playing on my FAT PS1 when the disc started to spin really fast and it wouldn't load the next area. After reseting the PS1 it is still spinning the disc way too fast for it to read the it. Any fixes?

My ps1 doesnt read cd. Also, the cd is spinning so fast. it cant be stopped

problem then. cds in general or cd games? I've had some glitches with my ps2s. I never hacked the ps one, so I don't anything about them. I just assumed it was a given problem. with my ps2s, it happens only with cd games. I can't remember if it loads or not then. I think it loads slowly iirc. the ps one is supposed to be a good cd player at least when it comes to sound, but discs are finicky. the dreaded disc read error has always been a problem with sony.

Check if the laser is moving or just stuck at one place.

No, it doesnt move. I can't find any information about it on internet
