PS3 Do you still play the PS3?

I liked COD Blacks Ops 1 and 3 but now that I softmodded my ps3 I don't go online in the servers anymore. I was able to back up a lot of games that I sold but that I still had the save file for. I also recently just bought Last of Us for PS3. I have a ps4 but don't think I'll get a ps5 or new xbox anytime soon. I don't play video games as much so will just play retro games. I like playing rom hacks on my hacked ps2 of snes and gba games.

I still play my PS3 and PS2. I have both of them hooked up to my Retrotink4k and they both look amazing, especially the PS3. The PS3 graphics are now next gen quality, absolutely stunning. I even have my PS4 Pro hooked up to it. I have so many PS3 games on my list that I still need to play.

I use my PS3 to play movies and TV more than games these days, there isn't really a better option for a living room box that can play blu rays, locally stored files and stream torrents at the PS3's price point

Yes you can always get a PC but I paid 40 or so dollars for my PS3 and it can do 1080p30 x264 which I'm happy with, no to mention HTPC's have always been a bit of a shitshow with what UI you use. Windows Media Center is dog slow and the linux alternatives are ugly and have worse UX than the PS3 XMB. Old XBMC was good though, its a shame it turned into Kodi and now looks like an app that would be preinstalled on a Galaxy S5

yup..still play once in awhile..mainly retroarch retro arcade games tho..and boxing, wrestling , avp and bond for "newer" games maybe 2x a moth..very little

:)

Do you mind to share how to do that ? Using movian maybe ?

On my side, I still also use my PS3 with movian. Gaming side : I'm currently on Pac-man Championship Edition, both PS3 version (included in Pac-man Museum) and nes demake version. Super addictive game

There are 2 ways.

You can transfer .torrent files to Movian folders and play them like you would with an MP4

And you can use a plugin called Streamian which is basically an IPTV program that uses torrents, its not perfect so compatibility is a bit iffy but its great for most things, .torrents and transferring media locally should be used to fill in Streamians gaps

No VPN involved in the process ?
