Since theres a lots of hackers in call of duty for example i dont think they do much about it anymore?

From my personal experience the answer is no, however I have several accounts and only use one of them for activity that would probably result in a ban. That's basically my expendable account and I highly recommend anyone considering to poke the bear do the same. Keep your legit account away from such practices. That being said under normal use your account should be fine, disable syscalls before logging in. I would love to hear what other's have experienced with this circumstance.

No they don't I even use my main account but I always disable syscalls using the webman shortcut but even if u didn't u won't get banned just to be safe

I've been playing a lot of Helldivers 1 on my CFW-enabled PS3 for the past few months without issue, but I'm not aware of any other online multiplayer PS3 games that are still active. Before that, I've even went into the Playstation store and downloaded some free DLC for a couple of games that I installed on my SSD..
FYI, I did install the PSNpatch during the initial CFW installation process.

EDIT: My PSN account is over 15 years old, and I had the latest OFW already installed before I did any shenanigans to my PS3..
