What is best? Opentuna, FHDB,
FMCB, Funtuna or other?

I have a PS2 Slim 70k and 90k
I would like to be able to start the OPL directly after turning on the console
not depend on an optical drive or DVD burning
easy to copy to other MCs and easy to update OPL
work on consoles with and without an unlock chip

I've only used fmcb, and that just displays a list after turning on the console. I think you can add/remove things you don't want/need. and, iirc, you can update OPL from within, as long as the system is connected to the internet.

Set up PS2BBL and configure it to autoboot OPL.

This is not possible due to how MG works. I did made a function in an old XEB 2012 version to copy it to another MC, but that was done by having an unsigned ELF in the very MC and signing it to the other on the fly, then copying everything else automatically. No other software have done that so far and, even I haven't ported that to the newest XEB+, not even XEB+ 2018, because of how redundant it is. It is way better to simpler to have the installer in a pendrive and launch it.
Plus, not every console is the same. Some doesn't autoboot system updates from MC, meaning no coldboot, so you will need to run a browser exploit like OpenTuna.

easy to update OPL
Option A: Set up your OPL's ELF in your USB device, and replace it whenever you want.
Option B: Create a simple app that copies the ELF from USB to MC. Run it from the apps page whenever you want to copy a newer OPL.
Option C: Simply use wLE to copy the ELF from USB to MC manually.
