What is the latest version of OPL that OpenTuna supports?

I downloaded the latest version of OPL and ulaunchelf with MX4SIO support and replaced the original Opentuna ELF in MC but when I open Opentuna I get a black screen

You REPLACED OPL.ELF in the APPS-Folder? I hope it is the SAME name and not something like OPL.elf, because the PS2s software is usually sensitive to capitalization errors.

Otherwise it can only be the date of the OPENTUNA folder, or another save having a newer date.

I kept the name of the elf the same, I replaced the elf from the opl in the root of the mc where opentuna is installed
my ps2 slim 90000 does not have a cr2032 battery for date and time

It just needs the "red glow" to keep the time.

"in the root of the MC"??
It is NOT in the root to begin with, but in a folder and hence I asked: Did you REPLACE it or deleted the old file and placed a new one on MC at the wrong path or wrong capitalization or whatever?

navigating in ulaunchelf Opentuna is in MC1 I enter MC1 and there are two ELF files of OPL and Ulaunchelf I deleted them both, navigated to MASS (USB Flash Drive) copied the ELF of the new OPL and Ulaunchelf and pasted them inside MC1 then when I started the MC menu to open Opentuna it did not enter OPL or Ulaunchelf and returned to the MC Menu

Can you use the latest beta version OPL 1.2.0 in Opentuna?

Sure you can, but it has to be the EXACT SAME NAME in the EXACT SAME Folder and hence I asked, if you REPLACED it, which you did NOT whilst claiming that you did............ You did NOOOOOT replace them and the name or path is VERY likely WRONG!

the file name was the same i deleted the elf files in opentuna in MC1 then i copied the new files USB flash Drive to the same folder of Opentuna in MC1

Then it should start OPL... Since it doesn't, it is either wrongly named or in the wrong path, or time-fault...

Set the time!

Is the time related to the CR2032 battery? My PS2 Slim doesn't have a battery
Is it possible to use Opentuna and OPL without the updated time and date?

When I installed Opentuna, its OPL can open and works. Version 1.2.0 2049 also works, but the latest beta does not open.

Dude... The battery holds the time, when there is no power connected...!
As long as it is connected, you don't need the battery for the time to be properly working, so set the time!

Try Beta 2169!

Can you use the beta version 2169 on opentuna in PS2 slim 90k?

Without the battery, whenever I turn on the console, will it be necessary to update the date and time to use Opentuna and OPL?

We had reports of OPL at least showing the GUI, but blackscreening when starting a game.
Does it show the GUI for you?

Not sure what causes this. You are the first to report it.
Well then just stay with 2169 for now!
