So as the title says , i would like to downgrade from CFW 4.84 overflow to Rebug 4.82.2 Rex . Is it possible ? And if yes can i just download the Rebug 4.82.2 Rex file rename it to PS3UPDAT.pup put it on a usb stick on a folder named : PS3 and install it manually or i need E3 flasher ?

That is easy, just QA flag your console, using either Rebug Toolbox (can be used on any CFW for this operation) or Habibs QA flagging tool. These tools can be found on brewology. Then you will be able to go freely up and down CFW versions as low as your minver allows.
You can check if you are QA flagged by moving to the network settings icon and doing the button combo
Button Combo: L1 + L2 + L3 (press left stick) + R1 + R2 + dpad_down

Hey guys m,aybe yall can help me I have a ps3 that needs to be remarried it has a good bluray drive yet it seems someone put one that doesnt belong, I am getting black screens with every homebrew i try to run from xmb, which means I cant run the toolbox, black screen. Multiman, black screen and so forth, I just installed the latest rebug after trying the nobd cfw, and that didnt work either, I want to try to install another link I found for rebug no bd cfw, yet I am at rebug4.84 and the cfw is rebug 4,82. Is there any other way to do it?? I cant fix this problem.
you realize there is the option to marry a bluray drive it should be in the tap menu next to game tab

What? no I didnt know anything about a remarry option anywhere, yet no matter what I try to open on the xmb i get a black screen, nothing opens at all, so even if an option to remarry was there, i would probably get a black screen when choosing it.
No as the remarry option is not an application but a function of a plugin. It will work even without a working drive
Have you checked the connection? If it has been taken apart its possible its just not attached properly. You can try remarry it first if you want, if no luck then check the power and ribbon cables.

I don't have any NoBD CFW versions made lol.
Overflow CFWs were removed from this forum for violation of site rules.... it's not a good idea to be linking them again.
