Downgrading from 4.87

Hello guys, I have a PS3 Phat with Ferrox 4.87 CFW, and I'm wondering if I can downgrade it. I want to install a Rebug CFW that supports ManagunZ and Multiman. Can I do it or am I stuck?

You just need to enable your QA flag, and then you can install a lower firmware. This tool will do the job.

However, I'm on Ferrox Cobra 4.87 myself and both ManaGunZ and multiMAN both work fine for me so it's not that they aren't compatible with the CFW. Either way, this will let you install lower/higher CFW versions as you wish.

I wanted to say WebMan, multiman works, managunz crashes if I try to launch a PS2 game, I bought the PS3 mostly for PS2 games, so it's important for me

Ferrox has issues with ps2 games on some console models, try Evilnat 4.87.2 CFW or any Rebug CFW

Hi im new for play station and Jail break
i got ps3 Fat 80GB HDD from my cousin that is on Ferrox Cobro 4.84 thats LAN and WIFI Hardware are not working means its not connecting to the internet anyway

i have changed Hard drive for 1TB but install Latest OFW 4.87 but now i dont know how to jailbreak without connecting internet... please guid me step by step...

if you installed OFW over CFW and have no network, then you will need a hardware flasher to jailbreak.
