Downtime: 9/12/2014

We had about an hour of downtime this evening, where our site was unreachable. When I was finally made aware of it, I verified the site being unreachable, and then filed a trouble ticket with our server host. As soon as the ticket went in, connectivity to the server was restored. Logging in, I can see the server was not actually down, because its been running for weeks. It seems that there was some sort of communication interruption either at our host, or from one of its upstream providers.

This is actually the second time this has happened, so I can requested an investigation from our host to determine why this happened. If this sort of behavior continues, we will look for a new host.

Thanks for keeping us updated. All sites may go down from time to time. It's nice to see we have admins here who actually care (unlike other sites I could name).

I noticed a small outage but they did not last long 30 seconds and Cloudfare was working. (but they were just a few seconds) I guess you were online when they happened..

Grimm is a good guy and top of things like this. He is very talented in what he does, takes it seriously as well. All 4 admins are dedicated people here who take things seriously. We all have an expertise in various areas as well makes for a great team of admins..
