Dump Takes Long

Hello Guys and Girls,
I wanted to hack my PS3 with PS3XPLOIT, but when I try to dump the Nand, it takes 40 Minutes and still counting...

Is that normal, if no how can i fix this?

How do i put the Dump to the USB then?

Step 1 of dumping to hdd, you download a fake photo (jpg), then after dumping you copy that jpg off to usb, and rename it to .bin.

Another Issue: When Trying to Patch, the PS3 Immediatelly Hung up! Is that Normal? I'm Scared

On dumping your nand to USB, is usb flashing while its dumping the nand? Reason im asking is because i had same issue with nand taking a long time to dump. Seems i had usb in wrong port or chose wrong port on dump settings.
