PS3 E/S/S/S/E Resigner v3.5

Some new updates of recent have been made to bigjokker's (aka hesvhytg) E/S/S/S/E Resigner. This tool will allow you to resign EBOOT / SELF / SDAT /SPRX / EDAT. In the latest release of version 3.5the developer has added EDAT Bruteforcing, Added more Menu Content and fixed all the bugs that could be identified. This is a badass tool. Been using it a while now and couldn't be happier. Just glad the ContentID isn't needed for edats anymore. Great job and glad to see this homebrew finally here and with custom firmware support.

u may have to open the game, then exit to unlock. I think C00 games r this way or maybe it's just opening to unlock (can't remember). generally, C00 games have two icon0.png for unlocked and locked games. and, they're in the C00 folder hence the name. :p

no go. i tried install edat pkg then game and vice versa then boot game and exit then boot again.

can you try and c00 game pinky using this tool. with my luck its just my damn ps3 with this issue.

btw i tried also sonic 4 episode 1 and sfiii 3rd strike if you have those to test

 

I'm not at my ps3 atm. might have to install the edat manually. that way u'll know if it's the pkg or the edat. try my method to see if it works for u. I've only tried with a couple games, both worked, so it should work with any game. u'll have to have the pkg creator create the edat as well (couldn't figure out how to pkg a licensed edat itself). one of the fields should disappear as it bypasses the decryption portion with the act.dat. that's how edats work without needing ur act.dat. it's just decrypted with a free klicense. afaik, all themes and license edats use the same free klicense which u can get with @aldostools ps3 tools' edat tool.

Question (probably dumb): probably this wouldn't work with HAN..., right? (thought as Cobra ODE runs on OFW and HAN does too, it might work to resign eboots)
