PS3 Emulating PS1 Link Cable on PS3 is possible

As in the subject, I am asking out of curiosity. I know there are 2 emulators on pc that can do this. How does it look on PS3? Possible, impossible or a waste of time.

"Link cable" was used to link two PS1 together. Some PS1 games supports this.

Ok I didn't understand your question. I would still think that is possible. I'm really not current on that situation with ps1 games and multi player options maybe @aldostools has a good suggestion
