PS3 Error 800100017 REBUG 4.82

Hey guys. So I recently updated from 4.81.2 REBUG to 4.82 REBUG D-REX and I'm getting this weird error when trying to launch my PSN games after I switch my ID to CEX in REBUG Toolbox. I'm pretty sure I had this issue before on 4.81.2 but managed to fix it. And now after updating I have it again, or maybe it was a different one before I'm not sure. But yeah I'm absolutely positive this was working before but no longer is. The games work before I spoof my ID but not after. Any help is appreciated

I believe that's the self authentication error. it happens if the keyset for that firmware isn't present. there could be other reasons for this error, but that's the general meaning of it. I'm not sure why you'd be experiencing it though. have you tried cex just to be sure it isn't dex mode on your system?

I haven't, however I will in the next hour but I do really want to fix this everything worked in Dex mode before so should formatting and installing in safe mode fix this issue?
 
In debug settings,go to NP environment and make sure its set to np.Also go into webman,scroll down to idps and psid,check both boxes and change the 82 part in idps to 84.Once done press save and you should have no problem connecting online if your psn games are connected to it

Thank you yeah it ended up figuring that out on my own that is the answer. I didn't change any numbers but everything works now. What does changing the numbers do?
