PS3 Error A0802022 and PS2 emulation

Looking at the SYSCON log of my 2004 Slim, I noticed many A0802022 errors and I think I've discovered the cause.

Each time I launch a PS2 game (ISO file with PS2_netemu), a new A0802022 error will pop on the log. Same when I exit a PS2 game.

I've checked and it's clearly related. Neither funny or worrying but if someone else find many errors like this with no apparent reasons, it may be this.

By the way, (a bit unrelated but) when I exit a PS2 game, I need to wait approximately 30 seconds before returning to the XMB and I noticed that WebmanMod gets "deactivated" (?), displaying "Webman not ready" when trying to load another game for example.
It also deactivate the internet connection.
Only occuring when I play with a wireless controller.

Edit :
Just want to add that since the creation of this thread, I bought a 2504 which had a perfectly clean SYSCON log.
Tried some PS2 games and... 2022 errors popping on the log !
So, really, don't worry :encouragement:

This happened to me years ago, when I had a cfw console, but this was before we could see error logs afaik. I do remember the webman not ready error. It wouldn't reload after exiting a PS2 game, and I had to restart the system. The two suggestions I remember hearing were either trying fsm to fix potential firmware errors or reformatting the hdd. I didn't try either as I learned to live with it. I didn't even play the system anymore at that time, so I wasn't very motivated. No one seemed to know for sure if either would work.

I have the same problem for years, you can check that your network adapter is not working too, it's not a webMAN issue but seem a software one.

Have you tried using the AV port instead of HDMI
Not yet, I need to find a cable.

I noticed that this issue disappear when using a wired controller. No more "Webman not ready" and the "exit time" is shorter too.

Interesting. If it's a cfw bug, I can tell you it's not limited to evilnat as I had this problem on rebug as well.

Nor cobra too, i disabled it just in case..

Can someone test this on DHFW or OFW? I don't have any PS2 games purchased via PSN, only my backed-up ones.

I don't have any ps2 games on ofw, but I did buy a second ps3 for cfw a long time ago before going legit, because the first system got banned. it didn't have that problem, so I don't know what the problem could be.

Can confirm 2022 showing up on PS2 emulated games. CECHL04 that previously had SYSCON log clean, now recorded 4 2022 entries. Evilnat 4.90 CFW.

Thanks for your report ! So it's confirming !
For some reasons, PS2 emulation will cause 2022 errors.
I think it's the controller I was having the same issue until I got new controller.
Yes, some controllers will cause the "Webman not ready" issue apparently. It doesn't happen at all when using a wired controller.

What's odd is that the system I bought after my first was banned didn't have this problem even with the same controller. There's a ps2net.self patch to allow more controller support iirc. Maybe that needs to be investigated?
