PS3 Error updating webMAN MOD: An error ocurred during the download operation. (80710A06)

I tried to update through "Update webMAN MOD > Install" (method 1) and for some reason I'm always getting the error "An error ocurred during the download operation. (80710A06)".
When I update through "Update webMAN MOD > webMAN MOD Installer" (method 2), it downloads and then I can run the installer manually and it will install.

Just to make sure, with this new updated version I tried to check for updates using method 1 and the same error ocurred. Is it a bug?

80710A06: download error due to PS3 date and time not matching the current date and time.

Nope. I just tested right now. It synced with PSN clock, mine was 2 minutes early and it still doesn't update webMAN mod. In the past it worked. What is wrong here, @aldostools ?

Thank you for the error report. It is caused by an issue with SSL automatic redirection in my web site.
To fix it I have changed the update URL in the XML files. Unfortunately it requires re-download & install the latest PKG and refresh XML.

OLD: http://aldostools.org/ps3/webMAN_MOD_latest.pkg (this link cause error 80710A06)
NEW: http://ps3.aldostools.org/webMAN_MOD_latest.pkg

I couldn't find how to fix the bug in cpanel keeping the original URL.

This error seems to persist after the latest update (1.47.45). I've installed the latest version and have rebooted my PS3 and I am unable to install prepISO 1.33 through webman mod because of the same 80710A06 error. My system clock is set automatically via internet and I double checked it before updating.

If you're on CFW Evilnat, go to Network > Custom Firmware Tools menu > CEX2DEX Tools > Toggle XMB Mode and change XMB Mode to CEX

You can download the PKG from GitHub or Brewology. I don't know if your HEN has VSH in DEX mode or not. If you switch VSH to CEX mode, you should be able to download the updates from webMAN MOD menu.

Thanks, Aldo! Yea, it's not that big of a deal, honestly. I was only curious since I never used that option before.

You can test the online updater again if you like. My host provider is forcing HTTPS on every folders on my website every few weeks. It should be fixed now. I hope they don't change it again.

DEX VSH in Evilnat 4.91.2 PEX is still using the certificates from 4.84 that are obsolete.

Evilnat said that he will investigate if it can be fixed. For the moment the unique solution is switch VSH mode to CEX and reboot.

EDIT: Fixed in CFW Evilnat 4.91.2 BETA 15

Took a while, but it's fixed now in the latest beta! Perhaps it's a fitting Christmas present.
 
Hi @aldostools , im currently on REBUG 4.84.2. Im still having the error code (80710A06) whilst trying to install anything under the newest version of webman. is there a fix for me other than updating to evilant 4.91?
