ESR won't read anymore burned DVDs

Hello!
I cleaned install another FMCB on my memory card (2 times) one with 1.966 and another with 1.94 both with ESR r9b and now r10f.
My dvd's worked fine with my FMCB 1.8 and esr gui thing i think (i really didn't looked into it, i had it for 7-8 years and i decided i need an upgrade just because.. ) but since upgrading my FMCB and installing another one on a second memory card now i can't play anymore any of my WORKING dvd's i've made in the pas 7 years. i tested it with more than 5-6 dvd's and i have BLACK SCREEN after seeing the ESR r9b version logo screen, or "disc could not be read" if i'm entering the browser where i can see the memory card contents. Also in esr GUI i have the "unknown media" thing and again, black screen.
Another thing worth mentioning is that my original DVD's work ok, but i hear a different sound coming from the DVD laser/reader, which sound like something is "scratching" (i recently cleaned it but i didn't took of the dvd reader, just used an o2 can and sprayed all the dust) but just at the startup, for 5-7 seconds, after that i hear no funny noises coming from there.
The console is a ps2 slim 770004 version. All of the software i was talking about was cleaned install with no errors and the DVD's where patched with esr disc patcher 0.24a.
I really hope someone can help me. Thank you

If You don't see yellow disc icon in Browser, it means ODD didn't verified disc yet. It have nothing to do with ESR (because he just waiting for disc to read) but optical drive itself. Maybe data on those discs are corrupted enough to be very hard or impossible to recognize (and after that, play from them).

If by "funny noising" You have in mind something similar to birds voice, it means laser cannot focus on path or loosing path. Make backups again on new discs, those probably died.

You can check read quality by making testing Jitter level and counting of PIE and PIF errors. ODD in PS2 is much worst than those on PC, so if You see bad results in test on PC, for sure they are higher values for PS2 and You shouldn't play games from it (even if if would be recognized and playable from PS2 as this will shortening laser life). In example Nero CD/DVD Speed can test discs quality, Plex Tools (only for Plextor family drives) etc.

no, it doesn't appear any yellow disc. it simply says: "disc cannot be read" then it let's me watch my memory cards from the browser.
the games aren't scratched and i didn't play them that much. they were stored without any dust on them and played from time to time.
the sound is just like something is "grinding"..unfortunately i just opened it and i was left with the "on off" button in my hands and i have to resotter it (i'm talking about the buton on that little circuit board). The "grinding sound" is right after the dvd starts spinning.

i tested 10 of my 30-40 games i have.none of them worked. i will buy another dvd's and burn some game on them and see what happens.

Test by disc quality testing tools, not just putting games to PS2. ;p After that, paste here screenshot from the results diagram.
