PS2 European games don't reconize controller

Hello, I'd like some help with a problem. Every European game I try to play via OPL (USB) doesn't recognize the controller. I've tried everything: updating OPL, changing modes, disabling PADEMU, testing two different controllers, and nothing worked. Curiously, it only happens with European versions of the games, for example:
SLES_539.67 - The Godfather
SLES_511.91 - Auto Modellista
and it also happened with
SLUS_209.83 - Musashi: Samurai Legend
Could someone help me? Thanks in advance.

Additionaly try if your controller has a pressure sensitive buttons in:
