PS3 Ever Changing syscon errors

OK so this is getting old.. just had another CECH2001A die. Put Epic Mickey 2 in game loaded.. went to black screen controller disconnected and system was unresponsive. Pull the plug.. power on.. controller wont sync even with cable.. no display.. wont enter low resolution mode.. no hard drive access... power light stayed on green.. did syscon 3 times.. each time debug kept listing error codes but program froze at #2 so I couldn't get an error log. But they were all 2124 and 2024. So I put on a good known working HDMI encoder chip(came off a mod bricked 3xxx). Now it instant YLOD.. ran syscon again.. it went all the way through but now its giving different codes that have nothing to do with the 2124. I really beging to wonder if the slims really are more reliable than the fats or does it just seem that way because they are newer than the fats. I have had 4 slims this week develop some sort of glod or ylod. Error log for this one is attached. Thanks guys.
