PS3 [Evilnat 4.88.2] PlayStation Store is requiring me to download software

When I try accessing PlayStation Store I get this message:

To use this feature, you must first download software.
Do you want to download now?

Is it safe to download it?
What should I do?
I'm accessing PlayStation Network this way:

XMB:
> Network
>> Custom Firmware Tools
>>> PSN Tools
>>>> Disable Syscalls [SYS]

It's fine the app just needs to update. There is a No PSN variant of the PS Store. I use it to grab stuff from time to time from my D/L list.

Other than disabling Syscalls, is there something else I should do to prevent my account to be banned?

I'll access PlayStation Store only to purchase / download games, nothing more.
I don't have "high risk" games (Call Of Duty, GTA, and son on...) and I won't be online while gaming.
Neither I care about other online functionalities at all (syncing game saves, online Trophies).
