PS3HEN Extended Content Profiles HEN

Hello,

I've been searching to see if the functionality exists in webman mod to enable an extended content profile per user account? So that My account automatically loads /PS3ISO + /PS3ISO_1 but my childs user account will only show /PS3ISO.

I know I can switch it manually using controller combos but I wanted to know if it could just default to that so that if he plays when I'm not around it's always his games on his profile?

Put your children games in PS3ISO and your hidden content in PS3ISO_1

The default profile will show only PS3ISO

If you switch to profile 1 it will stay selected. You have to switch back to default if you want to hide again the content in profile 1.

Thanks for responding! That's what I've been doing. I wasn't sure if there was a way to have a specific user profile on the ps3 automatically trigger a content profile to load. But it sounds like it may not be possible yet!

The "Extended Content Profiles" is a feature implemented year ago mainly to hide certain games/movies from wife/kids

As the last generated XML is kept in disk, the next time the plugin starts that XML is used.
That's the reason why you need to switch back to the default profile and refresh XML.
In other words, you need to hide your games/movies again.

Remember to clean your game controller after refresh XML...

Haha excellent point. I will just make it a habit to lead default profile before turning off the system. It's an awesome feature. I actually use it because my 5 year old like to play farming simulator but he's opened GTA a couple times on accident and I'm just not sure he's quite ready for that yet lol.
