PS3 FERROX 4.70 Standard CEX CFW by Alexander

Following the recent official firmware update of 4.70 for the PlayStation 3, CFW developer Alexander has released 4.70 FERROX v1.00 CFW (Standard CEX). This firmware comes with the usual CFW patches and feature we grown accustom to with the release of a Standard CEX. There has been a number of models and things tested view the release notes for additional details and information and as with any CFW release if you do not have a Hardware Flasher it's best to wait several days before installation and always USE AT YOUR RISK [break]ss[/break]

I wanted to report to you the following

on model CECH250B i tested your custom every thing went alright just got over heat I over beat this issue by the help of Irisman 4.45 I changed fan setting and it worked like charm. also Gamesonic 3.58.1 and Irisman 4.45 worked OK. I played COD 9, COD 1, GTA5, resident evil remaster HD and MGS-4. they all worked fine.

Also i tested it on another CECH250B it worked very well but PSN bug found (it might be not because the Custom ) the issue message says when i try register a new user it show that (the connection to server timed out) I know that some Debug setting need to be adjusted NP-environment =np

but is there any way that i can change it without downgrading to QA toggle enabled custom?

You can use Habib's standalone.qa.pkg, to enable qa flag on 4.70 CFW.

Also, get the Irisman that Habib posted a little while ago with his 4.70 CFW. He fixed bd mirror in Irisman, so games like Ghosts that require bd mirror work now.

no you don't need a disc to play but only BD function is not available. means only some games doe'tn run W/O BD feature like COD 7 i guess. but you still can play games from internal HDD but for now i did not try external hard drive.

Only if you have the logic board damaged. Anyway will be released today version noBD.

Is not related with an specific firmware version, it happened in previous firmwares too
Sorry for not giving much more explains, but my english is not good enought and i had enought in the other thread, aldo knows about it time ago you can ask him

Or if you want to hear an impartial oppinion you can ask joonie if the bug exists, he was testing it the other day and he said im right, his console overheated
