PS3 Ferrox Cobra to Rebug Rex

Hi!
Don't know is it a right place to ask, if not, can a Moderator move a topic? To the point...
I have bought used PS3 FAT (CECH-2504B). It's currently on FW version: 4.82 and Cobra Ferrox 7.53
My question is that I can install Rebug Rex istead of this one?
If yes, can you provide guide/tutorial for noobs? :)

yes! just install the rebug 4.84.2 REX pup file. (NOT D-REX!).

my pup install guide with pup download links is HERE.

What will be lost during installation? I don't care about profiles, saves, trophies. Just games I hope will remain. Is it high possibility of bricking?

normally there is no risk. it installs just like a system update so nothing is lost.
 
Got another question. I have installed Rebug. I have make dex in rebug tools. Installed PS3xpad and using Xbox360 wired controller. I've made debug eboot.bin with trueancestor (I think successfully). But rumble doesn't work. Inputs works fine but playing GoW without rumble feels somewhat flat
