its a fix for ps2 slim to read unreadable discs (the newer rw2 with 1x/2x speed ) you can use it to load FreeDVDBoot 1 time and install any homebrew like fortuna,funtuna,opentuna,fmcb
 
Still, IF they use the correct media and the proper settings, there's no need for anything else.
Bad media or bad burning settings might damage your lens, so, better do things right instead of doing a workaround.

but i burned it correctly 1X speed, and it says the disc is not regonized , but then i used swap trick+ straw hack + lens cleaning + lens screw adjustement with it , it STARTED WORKING
thats very weird

you should test it with a ps2 slim that has the common problem

Who said "1X" is the way to go?
Also, which media brand did you used?
Plus... how old is your burner? Is it a desktop one or a laptop one... or maybe a USB one?
