PS2 FMCB and no modchip?

Can I install FMCB and after it remove the modchip and the wires that are on my PS2?

Yes if you have a way to create the freemcboot memory card before hand. If you need help ask in the appropriate subforum for each topic you need to address. I would start with how do I create a free Mc boot memory card with a ps2 that has a modchip? Then move on to, how do I remove my mod chip without destroying my chip, or my ps2.

I have the freemcboot memory card in hands and I read people saying that in my case (90004 R PS2) its needed a modchip installed to be able to do it so maybe it's the same as the "normal" way and I'll do what you suggested. Thank you

Also remember to have an extra freemcboot backup after removing your modchip, sometimes freemacboot softs memcard gets corrupted, in these circumstances you can reinstall your freemacboot from the backup memcard without the need of the modchip again. Also its a good idea to remove the modchip for your lens, it will last more if you use discs to play games or watch dvds, modchips on ps2 puts more pressure on the lens of the disc drives.
