PS2 FMCB can't boot with two Dualshocks 2 controllers at the same time

Hello, guys, I have a question about FreemCboot, maybe it's a silly question or it's just happening to me. When I try to connect a second DualShock controller of PS2, the FMCB is frozen in the logo and never manages to start the exploit, but when disconnecting this second controller, everything continues and works normally. Also, I have connected the second controller while it was in the main FMCB menu to start the OPL, however, it freezes when the application starts. This does not happen to me when I use a DualShock controller of PS3 or PS4 through the USB cable, previously configuring the game with the PAD emulator.
Is there any chance of starting FMCB with another PS2 control connected?

My setup is as follows:
  • PS2: SCPH-39001 NTSC
  • Playstation Driver: 1.10
  • DVD PLayer: 2.12U
  • FMCB: v1.966
  • OPL: v1.1.0
  • PS2 DualShock original controllers
  • 2 original memorycards. One of them it has a normal installation of FMCB

I would greatly appreciate your answers. Thanks.

Is it a clone or third party controller?

Do you have a chip installed, which by chance takes current of the port where the freezing-issue occurs?

Thanks for answering. Yes, I just tried the controllers with the pdatest.elf and everything works great, except the vibration. I also connected the second DualShock controller to test it, but apparently it only shows the parameters in the interface when it is connected in the first port of the console.
I attached an image of the pdatest:

I am pretty sure that both are original DualShock controllers of SONY, I even have a third black color dualshock controller who came with the purchase of the console. I attach the images of the controllers:

About the Modchip, yes, my console has a modchip installed, but I don't know which one has and I don't know if it takes current from the second port, in fact, it freezes when I connect a second controller in any port, either in the first port or in the second, sorry for that. However, I am sure that it doesn't have the modchip "Matrix".

Here is how it should look like when 2 gamepads are connected:

Did you try to only connect gamepad to the 2nd port:

BTW I have noticed that in your uploaded image your gamepad in 2nd slot is not cross (X)

Maybe your gamepad slot (or ribbon cable) is somehow broken?

Thanks for answering. OK I think maybe the second gamepad slot of my console is broken, just as you tell me.
1. I test it again and it doesn't show me as you have on the picture, the parameters only shows it to me in the first slot of the console, but not in the second slot.
2. I Attached the following image of the PDATEST when connecting only the PS2 controller in the second slot of the console:

3. About the cross in the second slot, it was because when I took the photo of the program the first time, I connected a second PS2 controller in the second slot, apparently it does read the controller but doesn't show anything else.
Thank you very much, I have a better idea of what is happening. 2 years ago my console suffered a fall for a moving that I had, soon I wanted to turn on but it didn't work, so I took it to a technician to fix it and then it worked, but what I didn't get to try was the functioning of second slot of the console, maybe something it broke.
It's possible to repair that second slot or has no solution?
