That is certainly one approach, but what if you don't alread have an exploited console and no way to launch homebrew? Like an unmodded 90k console?
Then the easiest way would be to use FreeDVDBoot.
On a sidenote, FreeMCTuna / OpenTuna AIO installer ELF should give you the choice of target PS2 model. Right now it doesn't. Which is terrible if you use one model to install and then want to use that card in a different model.
That's where israpps Funtuna Fork makes a lot more sense, since it gives you the option to choose target PS2 model manually.

It doesn't matter if you use PSUja or any OpenTuna Installer on unmodded SCPH-90K with fw 2.30. Because FDVDB starting uLE and in both cases You need to use uLE to put OT on the card.
With PSUja it is You who choosing which OpenTuna you install. You didn't read readme. :P
What advantage of PSUja is over other solutions (excluding OSD Update (because it is not PSUja purpose besides MMCE devices of course)):
user ends with minimal install (exploit + cfg + wLE)
all up to date software
with cool icons and cool named ;P
with pre-configured SAS ready FMCB/OSDM
BTW:
ProtoPwn Installer not exist.
OSD Update installer is pretty useless for MMCE.
@Kevstah2004 On forums, one thread = one problem. You shouldn't writing anything anywhere, because that making mess. Reason behind that is forums are databases which are indexed by crawlers. Travelers from present and future can effectively search what they looking for. This is not possible in case of Facebook group, Discord channel etc. Violating that rule makes effective searching difficult or even impossible.
