Hello, welcome here. It is interesting that you talk about this.Hi.I moved it from the COK-002 board to the COK-001 board,CPU.NAND.SYSCON. But there is no launch Error : BitTraining SB:RRAC:BX0:BX:FLEXIO_ID ERROR 4003.I understand syscon is not compatible with COK-002, on COK-001?Maybe there is a team?to make it work on COK-001.And what does SB mean?
SB refers to southbridge, and in your case you are getting failed bittraining, failed SB:FLEXIO_ID with 4003 error code.
Bittraining is a process that occurs between the CPU and RSX, and between the CPU and SB. The communication between them is checked to make sure everything is OK before booting.
The CPU plays the central role in this and the SYSCON is calibrating and supervising everything.
Could we get more details like the full errorlog and bootup sequence?
My interpretation of this is that the old bigger southbridge found in COK-001 boards is not being compatible with the newer CELL CPU and SYSCON from COK-002. Assuming your work was all good.
Wether this could be just a matter of software or not... I dont know (like our magic training patches for the SYSCON that solve the RSX:FLEXIO_ID issue)
Maybe other people here tried the same
(transplant CPU from COK-002 into COK-001)
and have more useful knowledge than me.
Cheers
